[ The Holy Grail War is raging in Fuyuki City, and her husband Kiritsugu is one of the participants. It's already a problem that Maiya's around, there's also Saber! Not that she's worried about the latter very much, but she's been a pain in Ayame's wallet with the amount of food she eats. Trust Ayame to find a war of mages and heroic spirits to be a minor nuisance, but it's easy to see it as such when someone is as powerful as her. Rules are rules, though. She can't really intervene in it when her attention is focused on threats outside of the Earth, and taking care of their newborn daughter Jun.

But she can still be petty and be mad about it. She's been ignoring Kiritsugu, only rolling her eyes at him at most. She wanted to take a trip with them as a family, but this pesky Grail War had to take her husband's attention.

Clad in her yukata, Ayame is at the Emiya house's living room watching TV. Jun is next to her on a baby basket, cooing for Ayame's attention from time to time. She showers Jun some loving attention during commercial breaks, smiling and praising her little girl. But that smile vanishes as soon as Kiritsugu comes home. At a time where she'll normally welcome him with a drink and a kiss, she just ignores him. Jun coos loudly at her father's arrival, though. Her psychic senses already developing, allowing her newborn self to recognize her parents' presences. ]
